Established under the guidance of the ASEAN+3 FETN Steering Committee.
Aimed to serve as a mechanism to support ASEAN+3 FETN and the Coordination Office.
Registered under Thai laws in 2015.
Vision
Fostering network and partnership in epidemiology capacity building and collaboration.
We envision a collaborative network that fortifies and enhances epidemiological capacities through shared knowledge, resources, and expertise. By fostering partnerships among countries, we aim to strengthen the capabilities of public health surveillance and response, promote research and innovations, and ensure timely and effective management of public health threats.
Goals
1. To create a resilient and interconnected health workforce capacity that supports evidence-based decision-making and promotes the well-being and health security of the people.
2. To support networks of field epidemiology training programs in Asia and other partner countries through collaboration with development partners.
3. To mobilize funding and technical support for capacity building activities.
